Miraflores, famous for its beaches, restaurants and lively atmosphere, is now positioning itself as a benchmark tourist destination in terms of sustainable development. Indeed, the municipality recently awarded the Quality Distinction for Sustainable Tourism to the Quimbaya Latin America company, in recognition of its efforts to promote tourism that respects the environment and its communities. This label, awarded by the Municipality of Miraflores, aims to position the destination as a model of responsible, competitive tourism in harmony with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
