Today, we are proud to announce a new milestone in our commitment to more sustainable tourism: the achievement of the TourCert Qualified certification.

What is TourCert Qualified certification?

TourCert is an international organization specialized in certifying tourism companies committed to sustainable development. The TourCert Qualified label is a recognition awarded to companies that demonstrate a concrete commitment to responsible tourism and engage in a continuous improvement process in terms of sustainability.

To obtain this certification, we followed a rigorous process that included:

  • An ecomapeo, which is a thorough analysis of our operations from a sustainability perspective.
  • The signing of a sustainability commitment, formalizing our intention to integrate more responsible practices into all our activities.
  • The development of a progress plan, outlining the concrete actions we will take to further improve our environmental and social impact.
  • A validation by the Destination Management Organization, Quito Turismo, ensuring that we comply with international standards.

 

This certification is valid until December 2025 and marks the beginning of a process that will lead us to full certification within three years.
