IMPORTANT – AIRLINE TICKETS
• The airline tickets from LAN airlines are emitted electronically.
• We need to send the airline, the passport numbers, international tickets numbers and names of passengers 45 days prior to the date of international departure. For this reason, we request to send us within that period, passport numbers of all passengers, otherwise, tickets may not be issued and the reservation system will automatically cancel the reservations.
• We also request you to VERIFY that the passport numbers correspond to the full name of each passenger. In case of mismatch, passengers will have problems at boarding time.
• If the airline does not have the passport number and the international tickets numbers on the requested date, every new emission is subject to availability and will have an additional cost of $ 85.00 for each route per person.
• The domestic flights of the Quimbaya Tours tour leader are included if they are issued by us, otherwise, we ask you to provide him the domestic flights.
• We would appreciate to follow and respect these conditions.
• If these conditions are not respected, we will not be able to assume any supplement.
RESERVATION CONDITIONS – PRE PAYMENTS – FULL PAYMENT
Once we receive your confirmation we send you a prepay invoice corresponding to 30% of total land services and flights. This invoice should be paid when it is received in order to guarantee the reservations of your program.
• 60 days prior the arrival of the group, we need the preliminary rooming list in order to assure the reservations of hotels and other services.
• 45 days prior the arrival of the group, we need the final rooming list
• The final invoice should be paid 20 days prior to the arrival date of the passenger.
• We reserve the right of provision of the services if the invoice is not paid before the arrival date of the passenger to the destination
CANCELLATIONS
Every cancellation will only be made written and according to the following conditions:
The cancellation of the reservation of one or more passengers may result in modification of the invoice. We reserve the right to update the announced price depending on the actual number of passengers.
Total cancellation of the reservation:
• 61 days prior the arrival of the group
Land Services:
No fee charge if the cancellation is made 45 days prior to the arrival date of the passengers
Between the 44tth and 30th day prior to the arrival date of the passengers, we charge US$ 30.00 per person
Between the 29tth and 15th day prior to the arrival date of the passengers, we charge 20 %
Between the 14th and 4th day prior to the arrival date of the passengers, we charge 40 %
No refund if the cancellation is made as for the 4th day prior to the arrival date of the passengers
In case of no show the 100 % of full amount of the services will be charged
The prepayments used to pay the local suppliers will not be refunded in case of cancelattion
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
In case of suppliers have special cancellation terms, these will be mentioned in our confirmation letter and they will be applied strictly as the supplier does.

Tickets will be emitted 30 days in advance
Once the emission is made any refund is not applied. The 100% of full amount will be charged.
Any modification of name or re-emission of the tickets will have a cost of US$ 85.00 per pax.

• The order of the itinerary as well as the visits may be modified due to unexpected local events such as modifications/cancelation of flights from the airline companies, train schedules, weather or nature conditions, strikes or any other major force situation. In all cases, we’ll try to respect all programmed visits; in case this is not achieved, Quimbaya Tours compromises to provide the bests solutions and communicate it to the passengers.
• Quimbaya Tours will not be responsible for costs incurred in the situations mentioned above as well as the late arrival or loss of luggage, or medical expenses generated by illness of passengers.
• Any service not mentioned in this program is on behalf of passengers.
• With no response from your side, Quimbaya Tours will consider the document (program, services, rates and conditions) as read and approved.
The prices of the program are valid for the whole year 2019, with exception of the following dates:
• End of the year parties (Christmas and New Year), Carnival, Easter
• Inti Raymi Festival in Cusco (from June 19 to June 26)
• Holidays and national holidays (May 1, July 28 and 29).
• DAKAR: Peru is already confirmed as the participating country / probable month of the JANUARY event (there are still no dates or routes defined)
• PANAMERICAN GAMES: From July 26th to August 11th (Lima) / there will be 6700 athletes participating in the event.
• PARAPANAMERICAN GAMES: From August 23rd to September 01st (Lima) / 1890 athletes will be participating in the event.
• MINING CONVENTION: From September 16th to 20th in Arequipa / as we know, during these dates Arequipa hotels do NOT have availability of spaces
• CADE EMPRESARIOS: Possibly December / Possibly in Paracas

Lima is the capital and most important city of Peru. With an approximate population of ten million inhabitants, it is the fifth largest city in Latin America. Lima was founded on January 18, 1535 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro under the name “The City of Kings.” Lima is the commercial, financial, cultural and political heart of Peru, concentrating two thirds of the national industry, and has the largest airport in the country: the Jorge Chávez International Airport that connects with the main cities of Europe, North America and America. Latina The colonial center has been classified as a world heritage by Unesco in 1991.

Day 2 / Saturday / Lima
Breakfast.
Tour of the Historic Center of Lima: the Main Square, with the Presidential Palace and the City Hall.
Visit of the Cathedral of Lima. Built in 1625 y rebuilt in 1940 after an earthquake hit the city. Behind a relatively bare facade, we will find beautiful chapels and splendid wood carvings, like the stage where the choir sings.
We continue our visit to the Convent of San Francisco, a nice colonial, architectural combination which presents cloisters, embellished with frescos representing the life of San Francisco and wonderful sevillian tiles. The fabulous library and her catacombs, used as a cemetery during the colonial time, are the mayor sights of the convent.
Then visit the modern district of Miraflores, banking and business center of the city.

Day 3 / Sunday / Lima – Flight to Cusco – Sacred Valley
Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Cusco (LA 2061 08h45 / 10h05 – Subject to change)
Arrival in Cusco, whose Quechua name means “the navel of the world”. Cusco is located in the Peruvian highlands (3400 m.s.n.m approximately) and was the capital of the Inca Empire or Tawantinsuyo. According to the legend, the city was founded by Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo after its “birth” in Lake Titicaca.
Visit of the city: The main square, where according to the legend, Manco Capac’s gold stick digs into the earth by itself, showing him where to set up the city. Following the visit, the street of Hatun Rumilloc where the famous stone of 12 angles perfectly embedded in the wall. The street changes its name to the street San Blas. This is a craft area, one of the most picturesque parts of the city.
Visit of the Koricancha, a famous temple dedicated to the Sun God.
Visit of the Cathedral, built on the XVI century over the inca palace of Wiracocha.
Next, visit the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman, composed: the Kenko amphitheater, religious temple of complex architecture; Puka Pukara the red fortress, an Inca military construction composed of terraces and stairs; Tambomachay, also called “Baño del Inca” because of its channeled waters; and Sacsayhuaman, a cyclopean fortress composed of 3 walls of 300 meters long.

Then, transfer to Sacred Valley. Arrival & installation in the hotel.

Day 4 / Monday / Sacred Valley – Pisac Market – Maras – Ollantaytambo – Sacred Valley
Breakfast.
Visit the Indian market of Pisac: the entire town becomes a fair, mainly on Sundays, offering to the visitors a colourful and folkloric spectacle with its displays of fruit and vegetables on the ground and on the stands where it’s possible to buy handicrafts brought from all over the region: ponchos, weaves and sweaters on wool, jewels, antiquities, and more.
You will discover the local tradition such as: the bartering, still practiced by the indigenous, and the folklore expressed through the people’s clothes. Close to the square, we find a traditional baker oven “horno”.

Continue to Ollantaytambo; one of the last sites built by the Incas before the Conquerors arrival. One big part of the work remains unfinished; the abandoned stones were the dumb witnesses of the battle between Manco II against the invaders. Badgered by the conquerors the Inca sought refuge in the forest of Vilcabamba. Visit of the village of which layout of the streets, places and the foundation of the houses belongs to the Inca period.
Then we will visit the Salinas de Maras that are located on the side of a mountain and are divided into numerous pools that receive salty water from the subsoil. This salt mine is one of the oldest in Peru, it is known that they were exploited before the arrival of the Incas in the region.
The visit of Maras is not scheduled during the rainy season (from the end of November to the month of April).

Day 5 / Tuesday / Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Breakfast.
Transfer to Ollantaytambo train station to take The Voyager train (Inca Rail company) to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu).
Ascension by mini bus from Aguas Calientes by a vertiginous climb that will lead you to the site.
Guided visit to the site Machu Picchu with local guide, “The lost city of the Incas” at 110 km of Cusco, discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham.
After an important work of undergrowth clearing the surprising beauty of the site and its harmonious construction, in osmosis with the mountain were emphasized. The citadel is, without doubt, one of the most important architectonic and archaeological monuments of the planet. Located at 2400 meters above sea level, Machu Picchu is made of stone constructions spreading itself on a low and narrow hill, delimited by a cliff of 400 meters, a canyon giving on the Urubamba River. The function of this citadel is a mystery that the archaeologists could not clear up until now. They study the history and the function of this town of stone of almost a kilometer length, set up by Incas in this splendid geographical area where cohabit the Andean one with the Amazonian one.

Return to Ollantaytambo by train (The Voyager service). Arrival to station and transfer to Cusco.
