Day 2 / Thursday / La Paz – Uyuni (45min flight not included) /
Villamar (8h30 on road)

Transfer to the airport for Uyuni flight. Arrive and this day you will cross the plateau to visit the Laguna Turquiri, Laguna Katal, Laguna Honda. a hidden place where you can watch different types of ducks, geese and other birds.
Box lunch
Later we will find many interesting rock formations such as the famous Rocks Valley with a splendid view of the plateau. Then you will appreciate the Lost City of Italy, giant blocks of petrified lava, the rocks have been shaped by the wind erosion.
Continue towards Mallku Villamar village.

Day 3 / Friday / Villa Mar / Lagoons / Villamar
Breakfast
Very early departure: We reach the Lagunas Blanca and Verde, at the foot of volcanoes Juriques and Licancabur (el. 5960 m). There is a curious phenomenon: when the wind picks up, the waters of Laguna Verde change to a spectacular emerald color.
We keep heading north for an excursion to the Sol de Mañana Geysers (el. 4850 m.a.s.l.), a volcanic crater from which escape sulfuric fumes and heavy water, then we cross the Dali Desert (named after the scenery reminiscent of one of his paintings).
Lunch on the road
Later on, we visit Laguna Colorada. This Lagoon owes its intense red-brick color to the light sensitive phytoplankton present in its water.

Day 4 / Saturday / Villa Mar / Colchani

This day you will cross the South Lipez to arrive at the Salar.

Lunch in the middle of the Salar
After lunch visit the largest salt desert in the world: Salar de Uyuni. On the way, we will visit the first salt hotel (closed since November 2001) and the artisanal salt exploitation center of Colchani.
The atmosphere is special: the horizon seems to have no limit and the vastness is overwhelming. We head north to the island of Incahuasi *. This island of volcanic origin is covered with stromatolites (fossilized bacteria representing the first traces of life on earth) and giant cacti.

Day 5 / Sunday / Colchani / Uyuni – La Paz (45min flight not included)
Breakfast
Transfer for flight to La Paz, with assistance in formalities.
City tour of La Paz and its Prado walk surrounded by skyscrapers, which shelter government and private, offices.
You will visit San Francisco Church, jewel of the baroque with its incredible altar worked entirely in gold foil. You will then continue to Plaza Murillo, La Paz’s main square where you can also admire the Cathedral and Government Palace. Find yourself in the middle of the historical center with its colonial streets and museums.
You will finally discover the Sagárnaga street and the witches market offering many ingredients used for local medicine.

Continue your day with the visit of La Paz’s famous Moon Valley. You will cross over from the west and get a better picture of the unique geography of this one of a kind city. Arriving, a sense of disorientation will invade you just by seeing this clay valley formed through centuries.

Day 6 / Monday / La Paz / Copacabana / Sun Island / La Paz
Breakfast
First stop, the most important religious sanctuary of Bolivia. Visit the main square and church where you can find the famous virgin of Copacabana. Your trip will take to Sun Island in catamaran, known as Lake Titicaca’s most important ceremonial center. Arrival and visit of Pilkokaina, ancient Inca palace while enjoying the amazing view of the lake.

Continue to the Yumani Gardens and Sacred Fountain before descending the Inca steps.
Return to Copacabana and then La Paz by bus.
